I'm honored to present you a new Dark Orbit Bot! It's called "PB Do Bot", as you have have been able to see on my streams
Open Beta will start today. Everyone is invited to register an account on our forum. We will activate a random amount of users every day, granting them status "silver".
Once actived you have the chance to bot 1 of your Dark Orbit accounts. Your forum login is your license and bot client login, so keep it safe and secret.
PBDO-Bot Portal
First of all, a small overview on what the bot is capable of:
- Graphical User Interface (GUI) in English
- As soon as BigPoint puts out a new version, your bots will be stopped and thus are safe from update-related ban/captcha
- Automatic bot client update - it is silent and bots will run again as soon as it is finished!
- Any kind of special characters in username/password are supported
- Galaxy Gate Alpha & Beta & Gamma (Delta Gate is still in development)
- Possibility to use ammo Z in GalaxyGate X, wave Y
- Possibility to exit GalaxyGate X after wave Y and continue to farm/gather
- Galaxy Gate Generator (uses freshly gathered extra energy from bonusboxes)
- Possibility to change gathering and hunt behaviour according to level, uridium, credits, NPC-kills, time, amount of gathered ressources(per time)
- Possibility to boost according to your needs( Speed, Laser, Schield, Raketen)
- Refines ressources on board
- Gather cargo/bonus box (no honeyboxes!)
- Gather event box (sun boxes, pirate boxes)
- Restocks booty keys if wanted
- Expands Skylab (fully automatic)
- Timeplaner: edit when and how long your bot should run
- Up to 6 runs are possible per day
- Human login behaviour can be simulated for extra safety

- A few tasks are included in the bot starter pack
- There are subforums for "hunting", "farming", "galaxy gate" tasks, to share or just download them
- Behaviour editable with texteditor
- Taskcreator with GUI is already in development (developed by gähn -> under this post)
- Task (API) documentation to look up all the commands and values needed for creating or understanding a task (in english language)
- Possibility to avoid Players/NPCS (set a distance that will be kept)
- Collectables in range of dangerous enemies will be avoided
- If wanted, the bot runs like a rabbit from all threats (even from clans you are in war with)
- PvP System will be in development soon
- Circles enemies like a real player
- Can buy (and rebuy) cloaking
- Can rebuy ammo (if you have enough room for it)

PBDO BOT TASK CREATOR

This is only a tool to create tasks for the PB DO Bot. You find the bot itself here.
The PB Darkorbit bot is bit different from normal bot. You don´t check what the bot should do, you have to create task files. For this you must know C#. That´s why many people could have problems with the tasks and I decided to create a taskcreator.

Darkorbit Ranking System
Darkorbit players in addition to different levels can have also ranks. The highest rank is General and the lowest is basic space pilot. There is only one General per every company (and you know that there are only three companies in the game).
If you want to climb to the top of the career ladder you must be an active player and have high enough skills. It's always a good decision to join a power clan.
Here is the list of the ranks (and how many percents of players get each rank):

The rank calculation formula is extremly complex, it involves almost everything you've done in the game, including player/NPC kills, quests, level, etc.
Darkorbit Joining Clans
You need to have 50,000 credits for joining a clan, that's sad. But from the other hand, it means that clans will not be oversaturated. Making the 50,000 credits isn’t a difficult task though.
It's a really good idea to join a clan as soon as possible, especially when you're a relatively new player. Clans add to Darkorbit some social elements, when you can chat with other players, help them (and they help you too) and of course fight together against enemies, what gives you much more fun.
Some clans are large elite ones, it's very difficult to get into them. If you're a new player try to find a smaller clan, but it has to be active.
Many more experienced clan members will gladly answer your questions if you have them, so participating in clans will help you to fast start your gaming experience. Sometimes other clan members will help you also with credits, but don't abuse them or you'll be dropped very soon.
But the most funny part of being a clan member is when you're fighting together against NPCs and human enemies.

Change your password on a regular basis: The more often you change your login information, the safer your account will be. Whoever changes their information regularly will have better protection.
Avoid using simple passwords: Your password should contain both lower case and upper case letters as well as numbers. Passwords such as "qwert", "12345" or "ABC" aren't safe. Also NEVER use your nickname as your password.
Never share your account information with anyone: It doesn't matter if it's another player who you're friends with, a supporter, admin or moderator - never pass on your password/username. Our employees will also never ask you for this information, neither per e-mail, ICQ, MSN or Skype.
